Did you check the o-ring of the pressure gauge?

Would you happen to know what o-ring it takes in case that is the issue?with air pressure in the air rifle, put with a small brush some water with a little dish soap in it, arround the fitting. If it leaks, you will see that on the bubbles.Clean and dry the wet spots and put some gun oil on it.
Here is what I have done in this situation: Could be some debris in the poppet (or damaged poppet), first try dry firing the gun quite a few times to try and release any debris in the valve. If that doesn't work, you can sometimes hear the leak in the loading port. For obvious safety reasons never stick the barrel into your ear. If that is the case, then it will require a tear down. Also, take off the foregrip and make sure to check around and on the gauge with soapy water as well. Simple stuff first!I do not have the oring sizes offhand...let us know what you find.Edit: Sorry just reread and you have checked the gauge..also make sure to check the fill area.
Fill port o rings are about the first ones that I check when looking for a leak. They take a lot of beating from filling with a tank especially because about the only one on any of my guns that hasn't leaked there is my Prod and I suspect it might be because I usually fill it with a hand pump.
Right on Matthew...glad you finally found it! I put foster fills on all of mine.

The fill probe is kind of a pain since my other two PCPs use foster. I doubt I will ever put a moderator on it so I don't really need the fill probe.

Hope you get out in the field!
Another update, I got it sighted back in late Wednesday morning. It was dead on for elevation but it was shooting a good bit left at 20 yards. Took 40 clicks(1/4 moa@100) to get it back on zero. Shot a couple groups and called it good. A four shot string shooting .498 round balls that weight about 180gr was 736 714 683 653. It was about 35 degrees out. Thank you forum Member Lion for your help as well as Will Piatt. If you are going to work on your own sam yang a V&N pneumatics retaining ring spanner is a must have. I can't even tell it was ever taken apart. Don't bother with a screw driver for the valve or stock screw, a valve tool can be made from 5/8th OD 1/2 ID hard copper pipe that fits both. The oring sizes that I used areBUNA-N 70 D metric oringsone 21 x 3 and two 14 x 2.5 tube end plugone 17 x 3 main valveone 8 x 1.5 manometertwo 5.8 x 1.9 transfer portone 6.8 x 1.9 barrel adapter (a bit too thick but works if careful, I think a 7 x 1.5 would fit better)Two SAE 014 breech loading cover
