Disco w/a Mrod stock

I know that one of the Mod's put a disco double (Ezman?) into a Marauder stock- but I'm planning on putting a single tube disco in a Gen 1 Marauder stock- like a Katana. But here's my question:
Would the gauge from the disco line up w/the gauge hole in the marauder stock?
I will be using a Mrod trigger group, and a Mrod's trigger guard- I hate both the challenger's and the Katana's trigger guards. I'm not even sure I'd be able to get a Katana's trigger guard anyway.
I'm doing this because:
A) I have a Mrod stock laying around, and I actually like the way it feels
B) If it works, I have a stock that feels good to me, that I bought for cheap, that adds just the right amount of weight
I know that I'll have to inlet for a 2nd barrel band (I want the 2nd barrel band), and I will be filling in the gap because of the smaller tube. Filling in the gap's not needed, it's just a personal thing. I'll also have to get a longer bolt handle because the Katana had one to clear the bigger stock. I'll also have to notch the stock for the bolt handle.
I'm sure the Katana was not built simply by taking an Mrod stock and dropping in a disco, then adding an ugly trigger guard. If it is, well... awesome!! Less work for me! I just want to make sure either way.

1st thing is the Disco has a 7/8" air tube and the Marauder has an 1 1/4" air tube. So right from the start you will need to do a lot of filling so the Disco does not wobble around.
The gauge hole for the Marauder Gen 1 and Gen 2 are close to the Disco's but are off by about 1/2"
Nothing is impossible, just requires more work.

Poop.
I knew about the gap because of the difference between the disco tube and the Mrod tube....
Well, I guess I'll fill the gauge hole, and re-drill it for the Disco's gauge.
