Thinking about getting a Hill MK3 pump, but just wanted to know how much better this model is than other brands/types, crosman and air venturi in particular. Or should I just spring a little more coin for a CF tank?
Any thoughts or guidance guys? I'd like to make the purchase by Tuesday.

I've got a Hill Mk3 and really like it. Only pump I've had so I really can't compare. Only takes 90-100 strokes to go from 2000 to 3000 psi. Technique is key. Be sure to take full strokes and pause top and bottom.

I sprang for a 4500 psi CF tank from Airhog when I bought my first PCP. It was more expensive than a pump, but its been worth every penny I paid!! Plenty of fills for all of my PCP rifles, no labor for me and I can shoot whenever I want to without any extra effort. No pumping sessions with waits to avoid overheating, no worry about moisture, and I don't have to get involved with rebuilding a pump to replace worn or burned o-rings. My cranky back also appreciates the tank. I'll do other activities to get my exercise. As usual, just my 2c. Your mileage may vary.
The key factor to consider is the availability of a place that will actually fill to 4500 psi.
