Can someone explain what silver soldering is to me?
I think I found that it's not like plumbing or electrical soldering. Has a higher content of silver.
And the upper and lower ribs on a double barrel Powder Burner are 'silver soldered' in place.
Maybe used in jewelry making??
Maybe a sort of welding for making repairs??

Yep. Was going to say it’s basically brazing using a silver solder. Common in building scratch built slot cars.

Low temperature silver solder (not the high temp stuff where a torch is needed) is used in jewelry and other applications where you want the solder to hold its color.
Lead-based solder can look more like pewter, where it leans more to the gray side instead of looking more silver and shiny.
Some might argue it creates a stronger joint where the two items are joined. Hard to say if that holds true or not.
