Yup little green army men, aspirins and anything small that can be shot ethically

I think scaling down sizes is just a linear equation. A 100 yard six inch target would appear the same size as a three inch target at 50 yards . The same again as one and half inch at 25 yards. And so on.Scaling other conditions like wind and trajectory would be more involved. I guess shooting low power would increase trajectory and I guess you could shoot on windier days than you might normally.I understand your predicament of limited space. Most of the time I have to shoot in my basement at ten yards. It gets boring shooting one hole groups from a bench with a scope. To keep things challenging I'll switch to my peep sighted rifle or shooting offhand. Even ten yards offhand is challenging for me.Perhaps make a rack of decreasing sized spinners with the last one half inch round. That should be plenty challenging and entertaining.
If I may make a suggestion if possible set your target in front of a sand berm or good sized piece of cardboard. Without seeing where you're hitting, you are shooting blind and it's very hard to know which way to adjust.Depending on velocity and sightline 50 yards shouldn't be that far off from 25 yards. If you aim at the top of that size skillet you should hit it somewhere. That's as long as the wind isn't honking and or the barrel isn't skewed to one side.If you can't find it you'll need a back drop as mentioned above to help you. I can repeatedly hit beer cans at the 100 yard sand berm. It takes five or six shots to walk it in but once I got it, I got it. I've also threaded beer cans on old arrows in hay fields at 50 yards. Because I can't see my misses, it might take dozens of shots to find it at only 50 yards.HthRon
Has this been done before ?Can it really be done ?I don't really use scopes, and only have 25yds max to work with in my backyard where I do most of my shooting.Lately I've been thinking about trying to come up with a scaled down long distance shooting setup.Say my blue streak on probably 3 pumps, and extra small objects like say the little air venturi chickens for example but number of pumps and targets / size would depend. The problem is I don't know what kind if distance I'd want to scale down, what velocity I'd need to scale down for that distance, and don't have a chronograph.I'm thinking maybe scaling down say a standard soda can at 50-75yds or so.What do you guys think ?

They put them dots in your scope for a reason.
