Hello all,I have had, and sold, a few bullpups, and haven't really liked any of them.
Forward would be better, in a vacuum. Cocking lever rearward is fine, though, as I can go over with my left hand. The thing I didn't like about other pups (Hatsan Flashpup and FX Wildcat) was the balance of them, and the Taipan felt better in that regard. Felt less top heavy and it just begged to be held offhand, snuggled right up to my cheek, and that trigger...
What is the difference between the veteran and the mutant? Mutant just an older model?
But I still eventually want a Mutant or Veteran- though I know if my wife picked it up she would claim it. She loves bullpups.

I've been tempted by the Taipan for a number of years. It was at the top of my "I want it" lists until the Leshiy (Classic) came out. Since then I've bought the Leshiy and a used Lelya, but I will still someday get a Taipan.
