Congratulations. Excellent platform. Link below is a great read for anyone that owns one. Thank you Chris!
Beautiful rifle and very nice 25 yard groups. Congrats on both. Jeff
Laminates are the best !And great to see such results - seems like a keeper to me
Welcome to the D54 club. Awesome gun. If you want to walk down the slippery slope of spending money to tune your new toy .... well it can be done, but that type of accuracy is good enough for gov't work.

I am anxious to see how it does when it's broken in.]
Glad you like the wood.I believe that the hogsback gun stock, like yours, is the best designed gun stock that I know of... -Y

This because the ZRS mount positions the scope high above the bore negating the shooter positioning advantage I see with the Hogsback stock.Forward recoil of the action should be eliminated on the 54 to allow the use of the very low mounted scopes. I do look forward to EMS coming to the 54 because I believe it will help achieve this.

I am with Roadworthy. I do not like the form or the looks of the red laminated stock. I do love my beech stocked 54 in .22. It is the ticket outdoors at 50 and 100 yards. The Zero mount is perfect for me as I shoot heads up face off the stock. But I am sure the red stock is liked by many. If you have a 54 you owe to yourself to invest in Hectors tuner.
