I figured I had 3 years to run the snot out of it topping off my 30 and 60 minute scba tanks with it. It's still running and filling tanks like the day I unboxed it. I've changed the oil a couple times but that's all I've done to it.When I bought it I was skeptical about it being a true YH because it didn't have the white lettered logo on the side. I contacted Walmart and the seller and was assured it was YH... (note the model # on the tag YH-QB01) I made it clear that if it was not, I would send it back and request a refund. I even put that in the description on the Paypal payment.
Actually the prices are coming down little by little with more and more of the waterless types coming to market.. but yes, this is probably the cheapest way to fill tanks... just remember, the manufacturer does NOT recommend filling tanks larger that 1.6L ?... that's for you to decide.I top my 30 and 60 scba from 3k to around 4200psi.
I look in the sight glass and change it it looks dirty.I also take the side cover off and wipe it all out while I look for shavings and signs of wear.
Matter of fact, I just did an oil change on the Vevor and the MrodAir AirMax Extreme MKII a week or so ago. Same thing.. pull the side cover and wipe it all out... I also blow through the breather filter and the intake air stone to make sure they are not plugged.
