Charles do you have to degas the 30 cal std challenger to drop the trigger group out of it? I did some stock work on mine last year and ever since the sear has minor issues catching from time to time but if I push the safety blade inwards it will catch when acting up. I need to tear it all down and clean it. I did the baffles not long ago and it really shushed it up or I lost power. Anyways I spent some time with my pp750 22 cal, gen 1 marauder 25 cal and gen 2 brod 22 cal today. I put some bubble levels on the pp750 and gen 1 scope so just a quick resight session and mounted a different scope on the brod. Pretty good day in airgun land.
Poured over the instruction manual .pdf for the ATN X-Sight 3-12 scope that is incoming.Boxed up an airgun that is outgoing.
Set up a resetting rimfire spinner target I picked up the other day. I was shooting a Doug Noble condor with a 24” .250 TJ barrel. First projectile I got out was NSA 38.5 grain. Poor choice because they were supersonic from shot 1 even before the peak of the curve and lower PW setting. I don’t want to annoy my neighbors more than I have to. Getting over 110 foot pounds with a relatively light projectile like that is satisfying. Not sure what kind of energy I would get if I dialed up the spring load.I switched to 50 grain NSA and shot those for a while. At the peak with the PW at the low end, they were also hitting the sound barrier. so now it’s time to cast some 60 grains which make better use of the potential of that valve. Anyway this is a great gun and i appreciate Doug’s work every time i experience it.
Rick that carbine is absolutely amazing! I worked on the 30 cal bottle armada today. Finally got it to seal during the shot cycle. I'm done or should I say I think I'm done messing with it. I got 28 shots most of them between 905-910. A couple at 899 one at 893 and one at 916 fps. Take out the low one and it has about a 15 fps spread. Now I can't wait to take it out and shoot it.

How many shots per fill at the 110+ FPE range?
I polished the trigger on my 30 cal std challenger. Found out I not so good at driving pins out lol. It looked pretty good tbh. I don't think there was much polishing needed but it feels a lot smoother now.
