Back Room / Re: So if you didn't do anything airgun related what did you do today?« Last post by maraudinglizard on Today at 09:16:10 PM »Sorted through old flatware to get ready to make welded birds and other critters. Back tires to the rider delivered today, front tires will be here tomorrow. Unleashed the ladybugs into the garden, the majority of them hung around and started chomping on the bugs in the citrus. I will do another release in a few weeks. I will set out the Green Lacewing eggs tomorrow, they will hatch out in a week or so. That will take care of the next wave of bugs. They don't migrate as much as the lady bugs do. I am hoping by the end of the summer I will have a good population of both for the next growing season. I am not a big fan of pesticides, they are expensive and a lot of times do more harm than good. I have gotten better results using mother nature.

PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: FX Impact M3 Power Adjustments« Last post by PaulFWI on Today at 09:15:59 PM »What line is the valve on? You could go to line four and see what you get. It would be better to increase the hammer strike up until the velocity peaks and then back off on the hammer 5% from that peak velocity found. If you don't like that resulting velocity, then you want to increase the regulator pressure a little more and start over. You always want to keep the tuned balanced like this or you will be wasting air, and the gun will shoot louder than it should be. Hammer is at max (16). Micro wheel at max. Valve shows 4 lines so I think it's almost all the way out. I guess I should start by increasing the 2nd reg to 115 then - even tho the manual indicates that's well above max. Incidentally, when I got the gun, about a month ago, the first reg was right at 150, but it has sagged to 140. Is that a matter of concern? (This is my first FX gun with two regs; this never happened with my Wildcat or Crowns.) 13

Like you I would like to cast for my AG or only have AG that my casts work for. A long journey but with many rewards. 16
PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: FX Impact M3 Power Adjustments« Last post by GSu on Today at 08:58:12 PM »The amount the Macro and Micro adjustments provide is quite a bit. The Macro changes the fps somewhat but the Micro is is the one that compresses the hammer spring more with each click. 110-115 reg setting is a good starting point. As is the suggested valve adjuster settings from Keith. As you turn the valve adjuster in it increases the tension of the valve spring causing the valve to close sooner. Thus the fps will also change, more spring less fps and vicer versa.
Have fun take your time and have a good supply of pellets. 17
Back Room / Re: You are an airgun addict when« Last post by 2A Georgia on Today at 08:57:59 PM »I can't sleep. Studying the Air Force Escape on sale at Midway for $645 even though I believe my Notos is now perfect.
Stuck in a circular loop between getting the HF powder coat gun AND the NOE sizers AND a Lee hand press (I sold my bench press when I left PB world) OR spending less on a brand new bespoke accurate molds at .303 +0.002/-0.000. And another circular loop between the Air Force SS CF 457 or keeping my MSR and Fire Breathing Hand Cannon for big Game...lol At least I can't get in trouble with Memsahib for spending money if I'm in a circular loop LOL 18
