How would you compare it to a Daisy 747?I have a 747 and think the world of it, but I see folks keep raving about the P17, which has me curious.
Missed it.... a bit under the weather here.
A longer grub was not the issue, the un-threaded stepped end is !Took screw out and using the lathe ( Tho a drill & file works too ) removed another 3-4 threads effectively making the little stem portion longer. This allows grub screw to go in further before bottoming out. Result you take out more travel of sear mechanics taking sear closer to breaking point. Safety still works fine and found no issues doing so.
Any pics of these trigger mods? Sounds like you're making a good thing even better!
Awesome info!
I disabled the "Auto Safety" function on my P17. It still has a manual Safety which I can activate whenever I need it...
