I'm having a great time, sitting still the hotel restaurant drinking a Pilsner with some of my new English mates. Cameron
Well this is certainly fun but very very tough!I shot the black course on the first day, we started over 2 hours late due to the pcp shooters calling 30+ protests and the target painting.Started shooting after 5pm, weather and conditions were perfect. I should have shot better, but target distances are set at Max. 25mm at 42 yards, 40mm 42 yards kneelers, 40mm 39yard offhands 30 degree shots, super tough course. Sunset was around 7:55pm, at 7:50 they called the course cold. We were scheduled to finish our first match on the second day. Not my idea of fun. My partner Ischvan from Ukraine and I battled it out most of the day with our 97s. I ended up 2 ahead of him with a 34/50. First day I took 50% on forced position lanes, 20% of the course is forced. They switch between 6 kneelers/ 4 standing to 4 kneeling/ 6 standing depending on the day.Second day was 75% offhand, but a lot more wind. Many wind shadows and areas that it was difficult to read properly. I was able to pull off a 33/50 with a more difficult course and with moderate wind. Today's course was approximately 40 troyer before wind, and yesterday was about the same. I'm having a great time, sitting at the hotel restaurant drinking a Pilsner with some of my new English mates. The poor PCP shooters are out in a lightning storm in rain. They delayed the shoot, waiting for a weather break. No idea what's the plan with that. Ray Apelles is shooting well, as well at Matt Brackett. I believe the results from day 2 will be posted soon and we will see who's sitting where. Hope all is well guys!Cameron
