If you can shoot from inside the house through an open window or door, nobody will hear anything. Don't make the mistake of sticking the barrel outside. Shoot 5-10 feet back, from inside and you should be fine. The room acts as a silencer. I do this all the time.

Now I feel really bad....Around here, if a neighbor don't hear gunfire they come and check on you to see if everything is ok.We even have a code...One shot = I got him.Two shots = I missed the first shot.Three or more shots = No pests around, just shooting at stuff.
