How does one tighten or remove the pivot bolt from a Gamo Whisper Fusion?

If I try to budge the pivot bolt in my Whisper Fusion IGT rifle, it feels too tight, like I'll break something if I apply more torque. I haven't hurt anything (yet).
I remember a conversation about the Gamo fastener being pinned, but haven't found a pin.
I really like this gun and think it has great potential, but it is a "flinger" rather than a shooter.
All the bother is about the barrel having excess side to side "slop" and I'd like to tighten the bolt to remove the play and improve accuracy. The gun is frustrating inaccurate, but I think it will get much better with a tighter barrel joint. Would anyone please share their experience in this matter? Thanks very much!

I have no first hand experience just an interest in most things airgun. One thing that kept me away from Gamo was reading the pivot bolt is epoxied or glued or something into some - but not all - of their guns. That meant you had to drill the pivot bolt out then run new threads - or ship it off to Gamo to have it done. That information and the general difficulty getting parts from them kind of scared me off. I do wish you luck on your quest.

Perhaps apply heat from the tip of a soldering iron, then loosen. I also am not sure about gamo bolt thread orientation, RH vs LH

If the barrel pivot bolt is glued in place, than heat will soften the glue and the bolt can be loosened. But behind the pivot washers is thermoplastic. At least that 's what I see. If too much heat is used, I risk deforming the dag gum action!
I tried transferring heat from my 2-speed Weller iron but that was taking forever. I heated up an 1/8" steel rod red hot and pressed it against the threaded end of the bolt with two reheats. No movement and am worried that I'll soften important plastic and make matters worse. Gamo doesn't want users to tighten the action fork, maybe because if it's too tight, you ruin the plastic. I could be wrong, but I'm proceeding with caution.
I'm sure some people know Gamo action forks inside out. What's the secret? I'd love to see this rifle reach its potential.

You might consider sending fellow member OleTomCat a PM and ask what you need to know. He knows quite a lot about anything Gamo and likely has the answers you're looking for.

Drill Baby Drill...
About the only way to get them apart, this is one part that Gamo requires an FFL for also, I tried the heat thing and yes it melted the plastic...
