Shooting Chrono F1. Pretty basic but it does the job. That's the one I've had for years.

I just recently got the F1 shooting chrony and I love it. I plan to upgrade it though. It is just a basic chrony,32 shot strings is all it will do without the remote( sold separately) , but worth the money.

I also just bought the shooting chrony f1.  works great.  thats all you need

For a spring compressor just use a pipe clamp setup.

I would love to have export to Excel but I would rather keep the dollars. Instead I have stacks of junk mail envelopes with results written on them (I think that's how the Gettysburg address was exported) that I occasionally enter into spreadsheets.

I have an F1 with remote and printer. Works great and does everything I need. I have about $150 in the whole setup, bought it off fleabay. It was new/used. Used but supposedly never set up or fired through. Been using it for about 6 months and it works flawlessly as long as you have daylight or a good light source. Had a problem during dusk. Was time to quit for the day anyway.

Anyone have experience with the prochrono by competition electronics?  seems like more features for the same price.

I just write my data down then plug it in excel.  for the 10 minutes it takes to do that I'll keep my $$$$$

thats a good price but i don't think i would like having to stick my barrel up that close i would rather be back a few feet. don't think i would want to shoot a firearm through that seems the muzzel blast would blow it away. it probley works great for paintball or airsoft though. thanks david
