Nice to see that it arrived and is what you were expecting. Hard to wait that long, glad to see it is a happy beginning.
You will be happy with the accuracy. I have 3 friends who own this gun, one has been re-barreled but shot great before he did so and the other two are shooting and loving their guns. Both of their guns are super accurate, great buy.
I might offer another lighter slug but so far there is not that much sales for the .40 cal slug because there are not that many out there. Also the twist rate of the rifle dictates what bullet is optimal for the best accuracy. It has mostly to do with length of the bullet but other factors influence it as well. My 40 Cal slug, 215 grain, was custom made for the Badger to match the twist rate of the barrel which is why it is so accurate. A lighter slug will be shorter and may take a few versions of a slug to get it to balance correctly. That is harder to justify for an unpopular caliber just on a return on investment point of view. Most likely I would buy a swage die so I can adjust the length and weight, again, this will be based on what sales I see for the .401 caliber.
I plan on testing some 92 grain .395 hornady round balls eventually.

I can't watch the video right now as my internet not worthy on the road and I haven't gotten home to inbox my badger so I can not confirm this info.
If that's Neil's 112g Epox slug your fourth shot is still over 180 foot pounds . More than enough for a lot of critters. Those first two are screaming though! I really might have to invest in a chrony 😬
