Stoger X5 or XS 12 Trigger option?

After doing some research on medium power springers The Stoger X5 or XS12 seem to be good options. I still have to make up my mind on which one to get. As far as price goes they are almost the same. Both of these have good reviews. From what I have seen the trigger pull seems to be the major negative comment, from the posts and reviews I've seen.
After looking at the parts diagrams it looks like the whole gun needs to be torn down to work on the trigger. Is this the case, or is the there a better way to improve the trigger pull? A smooth and polish sort of thing. Please add in any comments that would help me make a decision.
Thanks

I have an x-5 and its a great little gun after a little work. I will try to send you a pm tonight explaining what I did to mine. they are easy to tear down too and very simple

I have the XS12 and it is also very easy to break down, a little dremel polish on the sear linkage and trigger, and some silicone grease and your good to go. Both have a pretty long pull but get smoother the more you shoot them. I am pretty sure there is not an aftermarket trigger upgrade for the XS12 but not sure on the X5. The trigger on my XS12 has smoothed out enough that my 7 and 9 year old grandsons can hit spent co2 cartridges hanging in the bushes at 10 to 15 yards, they can also cock it by themselves with no trouble.

the xs12 trigger can REALLY be improved by a little clean up and polishing. I have a link to detailed instructions that I will dig up and send. Well worth doing!

Please do, Bandit. Even though my xs12 trigger gets better and better, you can never get too smooth. I would be very interested in some trigger tips. I know there a lot of 12 owners out there that feel the same.
