IZH 60...Why?
longdx:
Ok, now I got your attention. Why as to ..Why did I wait so long to buy one? Why as to...Why id this so accurate ans well built for under $100 Why as to ...Why does a sub $100 air rifle have such a great trigger
I bought this recently through Pyramyd Air's recent moving sale.
as it arrived
Unboxing...also includes a cleaning rod
In its glory. The IZH 60 has an adjustable stock
10 yrds. standing using Beeman Hollow Point Pellets. The gun wants to group and depending on pellet choice (not the hunting style like the Beeman HPs) should be an outstanding 10 meter rifle. Prep to the gun was running a cleaning rope through the bore. It dieseled for the 10 shots I put through it, hope that will dissipate soon. Next is adjusting my hold, get a pellet sampler to find what it likes, and practice. This is an all day gun that will not fatigue you and ample power for target and close range pesting.
SwampFox:
Happy to hear that you like it! I just ordered the IZH60 (target pro) from the PA moving sale as well. Should be here tomorrow. Needed an indoor plinker for winter evenings. Can't wait to run some pellets through it.
ac12:
It is a great plinker casual target rifle.
I am still amazed that the Russians can put such a good trigger on a rifle at that price. Leaves others to shame.
I would by one, but that would be #3, and my wife will kick my butt. I already have more air guns than I have space to keep them.
wrecktangle:
Got my model 60 Target Pro last week from PA. Already had a 61.
Try light R-10's in it, that's what I use.
Let me know how to get the front sight housing off so you can change the front sights. I can get the lower end off but can't get the hooded part off to change out the inserts.
Bullit:
I've always thought it was one sexy looking target shooter...but alas...I'm a lefty, so I can only watch you guys have the fun. :D
