AEA .50 cal challenger long stock
(1/1)
jimbo:
I bought the AEA challenger .50 cal. long stock about three years ago strictly for deer hunting here in Indiana. I have not yet shot a deer with it ( because no deer ever came around when I was using it) but I really want to harvest a deer with an air rifle ( kind of a goal of mine). Does anyone else use one and what are your thoughts? I think for sure at 50 yds. it's gonna be a dead deer but the gun is very heavy and I think the safety kinda not worthy ( you better make sure you have a long finger nail on the finger your going to move the safety with) I'm going out tomorrow morning on opening day of gun season here in Indiana and I just thought maybe I'd get some tips and or advice on this gun. ;)

Should be no issue 50 yards and under, I will be using my .510 Piledriver this gun season in WI, I hope to see a deer within range . Good Luck ! :)
