You have a chance when you apply for tickets to apply for “special tickets” if you show them something very special (pics and a write up)  you are bringing.  I think many of the show items come from those special tickets where they can have time to research the item before the Roadshow. You could see them filming those special items.  There was some filming at the appraising tables but very little.
