what happened to the chat room.

So it seems as if the chat room has died. I know summer is not the busiest time for chat but it seems beyond dead. It's been that way for a long time. Any idea what changed ? It used to be a fun, busy place. For the last year it's been sick. I was in there alone for 20 minutes then got booted by Jeff. Must have been too many people in there ?

Well I never used the chat room, however I don't understand why someone would boot you. But honestly I have been wondering the same thing about GTA in general. When I first signed up five years ago, this was the place to be. If you posted a question, it wouldnt be but a few minutes you would have ten answers. But was off the forum for about three years, and came back a few months ago because I always enjoyed the comradre. But it seems as though im on the forum alone anymore, I can post a question now and it just sits for weeks, gets read numerous times but never an answer!

I cannot answer about the chat room but it is unusual for a question to be posed that it is not answered in a reasonable and timely fashion. there has also been a tremendous growth of membership in the last few years and I am sure that some of the issues being experienced by some members can be attributed to the growing pains. Add to that the ebb and flow of everyday life and some members that were extremely active and involved leaving due to life you will find luls in the activity especially this time of the year.
