I am a "Newbie" to air guns in that I have not owned or shot one for many years. My uncle recently passed away and I inherited a Daisy 450 5 Shot Pellet Gun from him. In trying to assess gun to see if it is worth keeping I have been looking on the internet to see if any have surfaced. I checked the usual eBay forums and Google but not much information is out there. From one of the forums I did find enough information to lead me to believe my pellet gun was made in January of 1972. The gun is in excellent condition with no missing parts. It came to me still in the brown Daisy box and included two red rotary magazines and a broken box of Daisy .177 lead pellets. The sights are also intact. Additionally, there was a folded piece of paper that had instructions on it along with the drawings showing parts, part numbers and prices of the parts. The box is in fair condition but the graphics are still easily legible as is the end cap label. I found this website during one of my searches and have registered in hopes of finding someone with more knowledge of this nice little air gun. Oh yes, I did actuate the lever action pump and the cylinder does hold air and when the trigger is pressed a resounding thump is heard. Also, the revolving pellet cartridge does appear to index properly. In addition to getting more information I am wondering if anyone would be interested in this pellet gun? I can provide pictures. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide
