I received 5 tins of FTT 5.53mm from Wing Supply today. Only one tin got a couple - few dents in the bottom. Iíll likely dump that tin into my half empty tin first.
I'm sorry you had a dented tin. I've ordered 27 tins from them since May 21st without any dents. Some shipped SurePost (UPS/USPS) and some UPS Ground.

The other 4 tins were perfect. As far as Iím concerned the price was worth just the 4 and most likely, most of those pellets in the 5th tin will be fine.

That's good. I wonder what they would do if you reported the damaged (dented) tin?

I donít know, but I wouldnít feel right or worry about it until I dump the tin. Perhaps after work tonight Iíll open it up at the kitchen table and see whatís inside.

Starting to get real tired of P/A and thier lack of customer service, late shipping, and no response from e-mails.
I placed an order a week ago of all in-stock items. They were scheduled to be delivered on the 9th. they just created the label on the 9th.
I even let them know I was going away and wanted the items for the trip when I ordered them.

Haven't done much with ours yet.. was waiting on peeps. That high comb makes a bit hard to use the stock iron sights. This morning I robbed a peep off of Betty Lou's 'Dan' and I have a weaver rail coming to sport a red dot for mine.
We'll get into her's this weekend. Mine will be ready next week.

I still can't figure out why they went with such a high comb.

Tracking says the second one will be here today.... that amazing... one day delivery out of Florida. Fact is, it's only shipping from 2 1//2 hours away.
Looks like we'll get to do some shooting tomorrow with them.

Mine arrived yesterday, I was able to mount the Picatinny rail and a cheap 4X32 scope and got it zeroed to shooting a 1" group at 37 yards with 4 pumps.  Kinda stretching it, but it was too hot to go sit in the yard and sight it in at a more reasonable distance.  I also put a strip of foam along the inside of the pump handle to quite the clack when pumping too.  That was louder than the report when shooting it!  :P

Yep, they 'clack' louder than any pumper I remember using.... gotta quiet that down.
I really like the gun so far though. Looks to be an awesome "truck/camp" gun. Compact and self contained.
Plenty of power with the .22. Accuracy remains to be seen this weekend.
Feel free to jump in on the thread I started over on the Crosman Benjamin gate.

In the past, I had good accuracy using Crosman pellets with Crosman rifles, Daisy pellets with Daisy rifle, etc.  YMMV

My Hawke Airmax 4-12x40AO scope that I ordered from D'vor arrived today.  Paid $159.95 for it plus shipping and tax but still the cheapest I've seen it. Thanks SteveP-52 for the heads up.

Received the Aim Sports Alpha 6 scope (4.5-27x50 SFP) I ordered after reading great reviews about its glass clarity and seeing it on sale for $199.
I can confirm those were not lies.
It is a heavy scope, but its weight is not a problem for me as I do not plan to hunt with it.

Today my factory direct Crosman 392S arrived as did my purchase of DT Fletchers 1947/48 .22 Rochester Precision Air Rifle from AoA.

It is in really good shape and has a stout report when fired and the pellet hits with a solid thump. I was late to the party when it came to his collection being listed for sale so I bought this one because I wanted to get one of his rifles back to Montana, I saw this one a few months ago, and when the price dropped last week I knew it was time to move.

I hope other pieces of his collection made it back as well and to other locations important to Mr. Fletcher.

Today after I got home I cleaned them both up, inspected them and gave them both secret sauce. Tomorrow we are on the road to Anaconda, Mt to watch my youngest son and his Helena Reps American Legion Post 2 Baseball teams double header.

Canít wait to get them out this Sunday to see what they can do.

All in all not a bad week in pawn shop pickups:
Crosman 2240 .22, first air pistol I have purchased $25.00 is all I paid, and itís a keeper
Daisy 717 .177, made in 2002 came with box and all papers, second air pistol I have ever purchased paid $100.00 and itís a keeper.
Beeman 250 (Diana Model 45) made March 1980, scope and leather sling already on it, great shooter, bought it for $125.00 sold it today to my brother in law for $275.00

The following 3 were a package deal that I paid $25.00 total:
Crosman Model 760 (plastic) - did not pump up, sold as is next day to a fellow air rifle enthusiast for $20.00
Crosman Model 66 (plastic) - pumped up and fired, was in rough shape and missing a few parts sold to same enthusiast as the 760 for $15.00.
Crossman Model 113 .177 Bulk-Fill Co2, kept as this was the only one in the package of three I wanted. Missing front fill cap and broken rear sight (I have them ordered), and needs a butt plate for the stock, just has the 2 screws.

And of course the 392S and the DT Fletcher Rochester.
