Sounds like a good idea. There are four or five of us in the Huntsville area, but not all of us have even met.
Hey Steve; we should get together and shoot sometime. I think it would be good to invite some other locals and maybe even make it a monthly or quarterly thing. So far the only local member I've met in person is Pigbuttons, Duane. He lives just a few miles from me and we have gotten together for a shooting (lead and bull ) session a few times.Tracy
PM sent.I would go ahead and list those projects in a sig line, if I were you. This is a great forum, and I doubt anyone is gonna care if your guns aren't show pieces. Most of mine aren't either, and usually only a small percentage of them are in perfect shooting condition at any given time.
That D34 should be a tack driver.Mike
SteveRecently I have not been able to travel far due to some health issues but getting back on my feet so by spring I should be able to get up that way possibly and if you are interested in FT shooting we have a club here in Heflin AL that we shoot the first of each month so will be shooting tomorrow as a matter of fact and we welcome all fellow airgunners to come shoot and enjoy the sport.
If blue Loctite will not hold it then go to 272 red Loctite or if you want to really be sure it will not come loose use 640 green bearing and stud retainer and I guaranty it will stay put, but if cleaned properly 242 blue will work I am certain. Been a mechanic 45 years and if cleaned and used right it does work on far higher loaded fasteners than a barrel pivot. Mike
