I like the idea of recontouring the grip frame.
Did not think about it before. The old 1300, 150 grip frame is the same as what you made.
For the life of me I cannot get paint to stay on those Crosman parts. I can't tell you how many times I have repainted them.
very nice … what kind of fps R you getting with that short barrel?

I can't tell you how many times I have repainted them. They need to be powdercoated. All of mine are, but I personally removed the casting marks first. In Asia, I paid P150 or a little over $3.00 to have my 2 Crosman grips and 2 barrel bands coated years ago by the biggest powdercoating company Probably now it’s 2x or even 3x the price but still super cheap—could be $10.00..I had 2 Crosman grips and some accompanying parts powdercoated here in Abq., and it cost me close to a hundred bucks Powdercoat not only lasts (and it looks fantastic) but will take the beating, although I do baby my toys, lol!Mine still look as fresh as the day as when I had them done—nada scratches nor peeling.Satin and speckled finish look best.
