I have an ARH kit inbound. The spring in my Vortek kit just broke after a little over 3,000 shots.
I will also add a plastic piston liner.

The ARH kit, (top hat, spring & guide), was excellent and I used GPL-205 for the lube and a Vortek seal after a through cleaning with break cleaner to remove all of the factory grease which was causing the dieseling. I used my BP rifle rod & old T-shirt taped to the rod for the cleaning. I also polished, with fine sandpaper, the piston and cocking shoe. The cocking cycle is very smooth & soundless now and here is the shot cycle.
My wife is shooting MOS from our back deck at 25 yards. I now wish I had taken pics during the install. The HW95L is a .22 caliber. I left the piston liner in and the thin washer that is between the piston end and top hat & spring. We are both North of 80 and really enjoy the 95 after all of the China Virus disaster.
Good luck to all and stay safe.

Dave,
That is very consistent with what I am seeing on my HW95L. ARH kit with Hornet (ARH) piston seal. Krytox GPL-205 lubrication.
The twang is completely gone, the shot is smooth, and chrony results are tighter by a bit. 1/2" groups at 25 yds are common, but they were before anyway.
So, I can recommend an ARH kit as a good thing.

I just installed the ARH kit in my 95 and I am getting the the same velocity as I was with the Vortek kit with 3 coils clipped. 670-680 with FTT 14.66.
Feels like it’s shooting harder.
I am also using a factory seal that I put in a few hundred shots ago. The seal plays a lot into velocity.
I intend to try a Vortek vac seal one day. I do also have an orange ARH seal to try. But I will wait until I need to.

I took it back apart this morning because I realized the I overlapped my piston liner. Now I trimmed it so there is no overlap at all. The FTT 14.66 are now back to 690-700 which is about right. The shot cycle feels better too.
Back trying to learn to shoot it worth a darn.
