Sure opened up that one! The woods cam clearly shows him bouncing off back stop--what an impact from that shot!
Holy moly Paulman! That rat was DRT before it took Pb initiated flight! LOL! I wouldn't have been able to resist either . Great shot and video sir! That definitely is a yote caliber!
Wow Paul....what an Impact !That's one Rat that didn't get away.Best Wishes - Tom
I'm really thrilled the AEA Challenger is as accurate as it is! You be able to hit a small rat at 40 yards has me confident a coyote won't have a chance! Even if I had missed him by a hair, the shrapnel from the pellet impacting the back wall probably would have taken him out, but may not have imparted that much damage! Wile E. Coyote better be wily around here!Quote from: ranchibi on June 07, 2021, 11:20:41 PMHoly moly Paulman! That rat was DRT before it took Pb initiated flight! LOL! Great shot and excellent video Paul. Did you clean the barrel before you started shooting it? Accuracy seems to be very good.
Paul, even if you slightly missed it and the shrapnel missed it....the ensuing vortex would have robbed all the O2 away from that immediate area and it would have suffocated! LOL! Yote...please visit Paulies!
You may want to choose something a bit bigger than a rat so you can readily identify it after you shoot it!

Isn't that pellets are for? It really likes the 44.75 grain Hades, and as you can see, they do a good bit of damage!Quote from: ranchibi on June 08, 2021, 06:39:06 PMPaul, even if you slightly missed it and the shrapnel missed it....the ensuing vortex would have robbed all the O2 away from that immediate area and it would have suffocated! Always thought the .30 was too much on smaller critters. Now not so sure...a 100ftlb .30 on a rat, someone else using a 40ftlb .25 on HOSP and mice, I feel under gunned. I'll need a 300+ ftlb .45 for squirrels.Just kidding Great shot, you have one great gun there.
