When you can't get people to work supply problems will occur. Restaurant in town can't get people to work there so have to close tue and wed.
All kinds of stuff is out of stock that I've never, ever seen out of stock before, even stuff like cereals and yogurt.

I'd go to work, but my knee is on strike, then again nobody would want my ugly mug slinging their hash; though I love to cook for groups. To do that for 8 hours takes a special kind of person, and I'm not it. Every place I've looked either involves stairs or putting 50lb items on lower shelves (they have lists of job requirements). Lifting up I can do, 50lbs in no problem, going low or navigating stairs with a load, not so much. Mind is willing, but the body is aging.

That's crazy with the train derailments. That seriously backs shipping up quite a bit. It's amazing how fast the worker can clean that up, and how they deal with it.
I'm very fortunate that I cast my own pellets, I have been since long before now and am really happy that I still am. Rotometals still ships me all the lead that I want
A sad situation indeed. My Dad and Grand-dad instilled in me to work before accepting hand outs.Dad said "Even if you clean toilets for a living, you earned your keep. BUT have the cleanest toilets in town".Not blaming anyone... but this is just nutz to pay people to stay home when workers are needed every where!
^^Same here... I don't have any debts and never will, cause I'll figure it out. I live within my means.I'm just one of those hard working people that have earned what they have. Some folks I know are up to debt to their eyeballs and think all is good. Not sure how some can live like that... let alone sleep at night.I think only 38% of Americans actually own their house and property free and clear. About 10 years ago it used to be 50%... crazy stuff.
