Hector, nice article and very elegant-looking setup! The thumbscrew for the elevation gib lock is a great touch, eliminating the need for a screwdriver to adjust the sight. Is it typical for the fixed-barrel Dianas with separate sight rail (as opposed to cut grooves) to work better with the lower "GR" base? Makes a lot of sense...
