I have about 5 scopes my R9 killed they don't make good planters so what else can I do with them?Toss them?
I watched some videos on fixing them and if you take them apart fix them snd put them back together what would stop them from going bad from the same shock that that killed them in the first place.I guess I don't have the tools to do it nor the want to, to do that so I guess they stay in my junk drawer.
As far as what is killing my scope (R9 Break barrel) other than that I don't know, some of the scopes I have had on it are in the $150 range. If you have any other ideas on what could be wrong with the gun causing that I would be more than willing to try it and if it worked I'd give you a big thanks.
I'm not going to stick $200. + into a scope and have to turn it in for repair every 2 months. If you have an R9 or the equivalent let me know what scope you have and I'll check it out to see if I can afford it.I here a little about barrel drupe but this gun has been this way sense I first bought it 14 years ago.A Sportsmatch mount is around $70 and then $200+ for a scope and still not sure if that would work. Ah Ah noSo is there a way to check for barrel drop with out sticking a lot of money in it?
