Then life got crazy. Now I don't remember whare I left off exactly... Or what pellets last used in the HW95. And I still need to resupply my .177 CPHP's.
It's been quite some time since shooting a 10m pistol offhand. Decided to try it again tonight. 5 shots. Looks like the 10 is safe for now. Ha ha! First shot waaaay high. Needed to get that trigger under control.
Good stuff. Certainly not bad for 25 yards, CPHP and that most difficult of mistresses, the gun we haven’t shot for a long time. . Much better then I when it’s been a fair bit of time on a particular gun.
Just before dark I shot several groups with my .25 cal Hatsan Striker. I recently replaced the barrel pivot screw and washers on this gun and man what a difference it has made! I keep a 2.5X scope on it to encourage me to limit my shots to under thirty yards. Here’s some 5 shot, 20 yard, seated, unsupported, groups using a variety of H&N fodder. I’m especially proud of the bottom group, shot with 24.7gr Vortex Strike pellets. Smaller than a dime!
"Hatsan group below, just five shots and a distraction up by the road caused me to pull one".....Lol... Ya,. You know I say from my shots with crosmans there's always that one to spoil a good grouping....always.They just can't help it.We get so much rain here I can't do much shooting in quite some time ,but if I can I been doing 40 yard head shot practice with my latest target tree thing. Won't be long when the feeders start looking good to pests like squirrel as fall sets in bit by bit , and I'll be ready to defend them..
Yeah, I am no hunter but that tree is AWESOME.
Deeco, awesome tree!I need to get some of those targets, the real ones always move on me All joking aside, that's a great idea. I have a few knock down targets and a few rimfire one's (a diamond shape and a prairie dog one), but having a target tree brings it to a whole new level. Thanks for sharing it.
