I ordered some H&N pellets- 6 tins and 3 sampler packs. I requested secure packaging so the tins/ pellets wouldn’t be damaged in transit. Items shipped out quickly and USPS got them to me quickly. FS had inserted the stack of tins inside a sturdy cardboard tube and taped the tube well. Everything was inside a 9x6x4.5 #1 single wall box. One of the box corners was blown out when it arrived. The inner tube/pellet stack had a good deal of freedom of movement and that let it punch through. It evidently hit something hard as one tin was dented. But, everything was still in the box. I will note that the other end of the box had received a reinforcing strip of tape that would have precluded the damage if applied to both ends. Also some extra padding to preclude contents movement and everything would have been perfect. So kudos to Field Supply for filling and shipping my order fast. Kudos to USPS for quick delivery from Bath, PA to northwest Ohio (506) miles. A slight ding on the packaging. As Maxwell Smart would say- ‘Missed it by that much’.
