Dang Dan... that is no small task,Are you doing it on the ground?Have you got a Tranny Jack?
Changed many a Power Glide and TH-350 laying on my back on the concrete.Roll them on my chest and arch my back while starting the bellhousing bolts... but that was so long ago.For a manual Trans, my best recommendation is a dummy plug for the input shaft to align the clutch splines before torquing down the pressure plate. Spray "Brake Cleaner" on the flywheel to remove ALL grease so it doesn't "Grab" later on.
I once burnt my clutch way out in the sand dunes on a surfing trip we had to do the job on the beach at night in Mexico!!!
My gosh, Dan...that is so NICE of you! Wow!
Torqueflights were bad, but, the old Ford C6 was a pig. Only saving grace, was the divorced transfer case.

If I see someone can or could help themselves but don't because of their own bad choices then I won't enable them though. I will talk to them and try to educate and guide in a good direction as long as they put forth an effort.
