We will hold our first Airgun 50-yard Benchrest Match at MPR Saturday, September 26th at 11 AM.

Please come 30 minutes or so early to sign the roster, pay match fees and set up so we can be ready to start at 11 AM sharp.  A .22 LR Benchrest match will be going on earlier in the day so feel free to come observe this match but please follow social distance and Covid SOPs.  We will shoot  3 WRABF 50 Yard targets if we can get a hold of them before the match.(currently on order)   If we cannot get them timely, we will shoot at different 50 yard target for the first match.  We will roughly follow the USARB rules with 3 x 20 minutes shooting periods and attempt to stay as close as possible to the USARB rules without all the bureaucracy.  Note these will not be sanctioned matches but may become so in future depending on level of interest. The first few events will be trial runs to work out the kinks.  Then depending on the level of interest we can look to possibly add 100-yard matches in future and make these regular monthly events. Cost will be $16.  Please bring small bills and exact change.  Please avoid bringing $20s or larger bills.

We are limited to 13 benches.    Please let us know in advance if you intend to come so we can reserve you a spot to avoid folks driving and not having a spot.  Also let me know if you are a lefty so I can assign seating accordingly to maximize social distance.  I will update the list of committed participants regularly  and  post final bench assignments a few days before the match in our forum here.

We will generally follow the USA Unlimited Class when it comes to guns so please ensure your gun qualifies as follows:

.177, .20 and .22 calibers are allowed. Pellets consistent with production availability only.
Any power level is allowed.
Any weight rifle is allowed.
Rifles using electrically actuated or powered components, or computer processors and applications are allowed; these components need not be integral to the rifle.
Wind flags or anemometers sensing and transmitting data to a computer device or display are allowed.
Front rests using electrically actuated or powered components are allowed.
One and two piece rests and bi-pods are allowed (as are sandbags)
Scopes transmitting or receiving data from a computer device are allowed.
Scopes may utilize illumination.
Tethered tanks are not allowed. NO recharging during the course of fire.
USARB scoring rules will apply. (as much as feasible, match directorís discretion)
Target distance will be 50 yards for this match
Please catch up on the USI latest rules:

The MPR is an outdoor range and can be enjoyed subject to new county Covid requirements.   Here are the specifics of the MPR portion of the SOP:

The RSO will assign shooting stations to keep distance between attendees.
The range will include signage and tape marks showing six-foot buffers between shooters
Shooters place event fee into the fee bucket bring exact amounts.
One person allowed in the restroom at a time Each user must spray the seat, and surfaces touched with disinfectant.
