Thank you. They are two great jobs: first the factory and then the editing.

hello everybody,
Playing a little with the adjustment of the SSG, with 3-3.5 mm of free hammer move and 2 mm more preload in the hammer's spring my gun with my homemade bullets (58 grains) gave this afternoon 865 fps (+/- 7) for 17 regulated shots (from 250 bar to 150 bar) and the "useful" four-five shots after... 96 fpe... not bad at all...
Then I decide to try some heavier bullets, so I turned in my small lathe another "mold" for a little longer hollow point bullets...
The swagging cores this time were a little longer, but the same diameter (~ 6 mm), with a weight of 4.69 grams (+/- 0.02)
My heavier bullets weight is 4.46 grams (+/- 0.02), it means ~ 68 grains and the hollow point is 3 mm diameter and 3.5 mm deep...
The length of my heavier bullets is 12.2 mm and the diameter of the base is 7.63 mm
My ....production, with the heavy in the middle...
With the heavy 68 grains bullets my gun gave average 822 fps (102 fpe) for the same 17 regulated shots... Not bad at all...
Now with the corona virus isolation, i found some time to paint my small swagging press grey...
PS. Be VERY careful with the protection of corona virus... Isolation seems the only protection in South Europe until now... To many dead in Italy and Spain... Be very careful please...

Oh my, that stock is absolutely beautiful!
Very fine work on the complete project, from the mechanics to the stock and pellet swaging.

good morning from Kefalonia Island, West Greece,
This season with the virus home isolation I have time to work on my airguns. Few days ago I received the new scope for my .30. Its a
HAWKE VANTAGE SF 4-16x44
. Very nice scope, very well made, with thin crispy half mil dot reticle and very nice side focus.
https://us.hawkeoptics.com/vantage-side-focus-4-16x44-mil-dot.html
It needs medium plus height rings, but I had only high, so I have to wait until my new rings come home...
Yesterday I decided to redesign a part of the SSG of my gun, to give me almost 2.5 more mm of adjustment back and forward. These 2.5 more mm means that I can adjust the SSG a little more in front keeping the spring preload high enough and my gun can shoot now with my light (58 grains) bullets at 100 fpe, having 4.5 mm free space for the hammer. From 250 to 150 bar it gives regulated 18 shots at 102-103 fpe ...
The adjusting screw of my old SSG was like this:
And the new improved design is this:
The inox rear hexagon is glued to the bronze part with high strength thread lock...
I found also few minutes to make six half circle slots in my six bullets loader to see how many bullets are still inside with a quick view...
Finally I constructed a very light carbon fiber wheel for the side focus knob of my scope. It has outer diameter 70 mm, it is made in the exact diameter of the knob and it secured in its place with a M4 inox allen screw...

good morning from Kefalonia Island, Greece,
Before the end of the lockdown in my country I found time to finish my 0.30
I enlogate the shroud and cover it with two layers of carbonfiber cloth, to be the same with the stock...
After a lot of sanding (until 400 grit wet...) I sprayed it with the same mat clear varnish as the stock...

My conversion is now finished.
cal. 0.30, 100 fpe, SSG, balanced valve, retracting bolt, carbonfiber stock and shroud...
3.68 kg total weight
(including Hawke scope). Not bad at all...
be careful and safe with the corona virus... In Europe there are still many new infections. It seems that social distancing is the best solution until the vaccine...

The gun looks very nice, good work on the finishing of the shroud and all. Very fine craftsmanship!
And seems to be fairly lightweight also!
