When I lived in West Virginia near the PA line I would have liked to squirrel hunt in PA, however the PA airgun laws explicitly stated the they were illegal for small game hunting. I've been living in NC for the last 9 years so I'm wondering if the PA game laws were recently changed to allow hunting small game with an airgun.

West Virginia game laws were completely different in the sense that your could small game hunt with anything that wasn't  outlawed. My brother and I often hunted in the WV woods for squirrels and a game warden was thoroughly impressed with my brother's limit of squirrels taken with his .177 R9 when his hunting license was checked out.

it is Unlawful to use an air/gas/spring powered airgun for hunting here in the commonwealth of PA.  we are currently working to push legislation through to remove that ban but it could be months/years....

What can be done to help this cause?

Its interesting, because on crosmans webaite for their airbow they state (i think) that the airbow can be used during other airgun seasons and show pa being a state to hunt deer and such with airguns.  Unless i misread....i was looking at it when i was very tired lol
