I wonder what this rifle would do right out of the box? Without the trigger hack and bi-pod modifications?

It's a $10 buck screw swap, those triggers are not the worst I've yet to shoot right out of the box. His screw just makes good into great. Just don't set it so light you have an AD if dropped or bumped.  Shooting off a rest or a bipod is a personal thing, depends on what you are used to. I doubt I'd drill holes in that stock personally unless it was going to live as bench shooter all of its life (and that platform is a hunter).

I have to admit I like the stock. CAT trigger, breaking at 3-4 lbs though would be a deal breaker for me. Is there a Tuna trigger for this rifle? Makes me curious as to what it could do with a good scope instead of a 3X9 with no AO. I'd like to shoot one first before I give $300, especially when I'm throwing away the scope and rings.

Just ordered one. Like what you said about it in the review so pulled the trigger so to speak.
Now I'm checking the Gamo web page every 20 minutes looking to see the shipped notice. I'm at completed now.  Should be leaving AR soon I hope!
Are we there yet, are we there yet!
