Reminds me of the tractors I used to see as a kid. Will you attempt to fill a 45 minute tank to 4500 psi? At those temps it seems like it may really keep chugging and not damage the machine..

They dont recomment filling anything bigger than 500cc. I personally have topped off tanks in 20. min. runs. but its not recommended by Umarex.

I like the auto shut off.. The high temp shut off.. And no need for a bucket of water.. no oil.. I wish I could see where they are available.. I thought Umerax was out of stock last I looked before their website went down.

Very interesting review Travis. Especially after just watching your review of the Xisico again, which brought up in my mind a few questions:
1. Does the bleed valve *Not* need to be open first when starting off, as was recommended on the Xisico? I understood the importance of it there, by not straining the piston connecting rod if already under pressure so it made sense to start with the bleed valve open and then closing it once the compressor started cycling.
2. I could see the psi immediately dropping the moment the compressor shut off, both on the deadhead (pretty quick) and on the bottle (slower), but dropping still.
3. Where is the compressor made?
4. Did you have a chance to look inside and see if there are similarities with the Xisico?
5. If it is maintenance-free, what lubes the action? Would it be grease, like the later Xisico "maintenance-free" model?
At the $549 price it does seem like a great deal, especially since I paid $499 for a Made-In-China Xisico.
If you could please let us know the answers to the above questions, and Thanks!

I’ll answer what I know. I start it with no pressure in the system but that could be with the bleed closed but no pressure in system. I don’t know where it’s made but looking at it I would guess in China(Just a Guess) the bleed down after shut down was my fault I didn’t notice the oring missing in the pressure hose when I attached it. Oring was installed later and no issues. Similar to GTX? Not at all it’s totally different. Would I recommend this compressor? Yes! Very well thought out and inexpensive for the features. I didn’t have much time to do the video Charlie I contracted Covid right after it got to me and my energy level has been pretty low but I’m getting better. Great questions! I plan on some follow up videos when I feel a little better buddy.

Seems to want to "walk' on hard surface..? (noticed you had it on some foam inside). Digital buttons of that type will not last IMO. Very good safety features as you pointed out although noise level at OSHA limit for ear /hearing protection.
Think times for fills right inline with other compressors.

There are potential electrical safety issues with it over on another thread; I posted about how it's not grounded/earthed being it's a metal chassis; not double-insulated.
I did ask Umarex last week, but they haven't yet responded. I will call them and find out the deal is with this machine.
I do reviews/testing on other products for some companies. They will send me out a demo/sample and I test it. I would like to get my hands on one to check it out, then return it. I have no interest in another compressor (unless they tell me no), but I am concerned for other's safety. Usually what I do with products the manufacturer doesn't want back is I dismantle and destroy it, then it goes out in the bin for scrap metal/recycling.

Umarex did a "maintenance" video which states that the piston head has to be fully broken down and the o rings replaced for every 20 hours of use.

Looking for a compressor and am considering this one, would this be a better choice than some of the other smaller units? I don't think it would get used as much as some do theirs but then I never thought I would put a few thousand rounds of 9mm down range in three times to the range. This is all new to a powder burner so please be gentle.

I just pulled the trigger as they say on one of these compressors from Pyramid, suppose to be here next Tuesday I will have to let you know what I think(not that I know what i am talking about) after I get it and try it out. My Kratos is about half full and the Gauntlet came empty so it will be a cap off and a full fill.
