I do have an ad blocker running on all my devices, but I can see the YouTube videos I post in the Hunting Gate. Maybe it's because they are my videos, not real sure...

Maybe I have this wrong. Is this for personal avatars or for a new avatar(logo) for the GTA? If for personal avatars, please disregard the following. :o :o :o
Short of something showing up which may be better, I vote for keeping the existing logo. I think it says it all and is graphically pleasant to look at. JMHO...

Believe me it took a lot of luck and patience to get mine to the simple avatar it is. I am not really happy with it but have no more hair or fingernails to pull out so it is what it is. ??? ??? :P

LOL.... I doubt it Scott.... remember, I already have the .177 ATI Freedom 'parts gun' and she has never even looked twice in it's direction. I made it a point to try to buy two of every gun we have so we could shoot together. She is only interested in 2 of them... one is a m/m Daisy 880 given to us by Don as a gift and the other is a beat up old Sheridan Blue Streak that came from 19Sheridan57. The other 100 or so are, as she puts it, my obsessions.

Thanks Wayne.... it will be interesting to do the side by side comparison with the .22 Aspen and the .177 Freedom.
The Freedom does have a minor issue... it leaks off to under 1k when left sit overnight. I never fixed it because I am intimidated by the internals of the gun. I just fill it with the Vevor compressor and then pump 17 strokes per 10 shots in a session. The Freedom may be on the chopping block once I receive the Aspen... I don't need two of them..... matter of fact, I have a better plan... stay tuned...

Voting will end when the Aspen appears on my doorstep.
At that time, the winner will be announced here and that winner will receive my .177 ATI Freedom 'parts gun' with it's already mentioned issue.
Only members that have already submitted avatar entries will qualify.
Travis, if you will, please don't lock this thread until that time.... unless, of course, replies take on an ugly path.. >:(.... in that event, I will ask Travis to lock it up and still announce the winner here but further replies will not be permitted.

I understand the virus has delayed many things. I plan to ship my gun when I receive the one from this contest. I will not announce a winner until then. That way nobody feels like they have something coming to them and not receiving it.
I hope that is understandable.

With the country slowly opening back up things are beginning to move again. I did receive a tracking number today and the Aspen is on it's way. Estimated delivery is Wednesday 27th.
As I originally posted, once the Aspen hits my door step the winner of the ATI Freedom 'parts gun' will be announced here and that gun will be sent out to it's new owner.
To the winner;
Please review my original posts... this is not a brand new gun without issue. I installed a set of picatinny rails to the sides for mounting bipod legs and the gun has a slow (overnight) leak and on of the side cover screws were stripped (not a hard fix... I think I put a spot of super glue on it just to hold it in place). It will come with every thing that I got when I received the gun from ATI. Which, IIRC, is the gun, open sights, a mag and fill probe.
The gun shoots and functions great and is quite accurate.
So, stay tuned for the announcement next week.
Please... in the meantime... stay safe.

Shipping has been really crazy all over I am sure, and we have really been affected up here. I have been waiting for a part for a month and a half that should have taken less than a week... Enjoy that new Aspen when you get it!

LOL..... so, I wake up this morning to an update e-mail from FedEx.. It's now scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

The gun arrived just before I got home from work. FedEx did a real fine job of mashing the box up on both ends but i don't see any damage to the gun itself.
The gun arrived with one mag and a single shot tray included.
It was near empty of air so I put 20 or so pumps in it and stepped out the front and dry fired the gun a couple times.... it functions as intended.
Next step is to fill it and let it sit overnight to check for leaks. This weekend I will scope, sight it in and gets some numbers. At that point I'll begin a new thread on this gun.
I will contact the winner of my .177 ATI Freedom 'parts gun' and arrange the shipping details and his/her name will be announced here.
