2017-18 season in PA........air guns are now legal for hunting small game and predators in Pennsylvania!
In "special regulation areas" small game hunters must stick with .177 and .22 guns, but in other areas no deemed "special reg" you may use any caliber air gun.
I thought about actually buying a hunting license again, but after I thought long and hard about it, and recalling several unpleasant experiences of being intimidated by deputies, I decided against doing so.
The game commission does a lot of good for the wildlife of Pa., but their pompous deputies and wardens make me sick.
