No, none of the wad cutters exited. I used RWS Superdomes in my 880 for accuracy but they would go through and I was having to run them down for a second shot. Plus, I had to have a secure backstop because of neighbors. I changed to regular RWS wad cutters and that solved the shoot through but hurt accuracy also dealing with a bad trigger. With all these issues I stilled managed 39 squirrels with the 880. Now, my new R7 shoots better with the RWS R-10 March 8.2 grain than the RWS Superdomes. I do not have a chrony but I am guessing the R7 and 880 have about the same power, around 600 fps with the 8.2 grain. So, with the low power it is difficult to push a wad cutter through with 6-7 foot lbs but they do serious damage under 15 yards with a well placed shot.
Charlie, you are off to a great start with your New R-7 Rifle ! Good Shooting and VERY NICE RIFLE ! Best Wishes - Tom

Now you have me thinking about the possibilities with my Diana 24C. It does similar speed with Superdomes, a ragged hole at 17 yards. I know of some close range squirrels..... 😈
Great shooting Charlie !!!
Good shooting Charlie. Nothing like mm accuracy from those Weihrauch rifles. Germans can make a springer!!Keep at em'.
