At the 12 yard soupcan I placed a target. I only hit the 6” square 11/18 shots. With crosman pointed 7 grainers I useually hit the soup an every time. YMMV.Maybe the longer barrel would do better? Nice "Ace in the Hole" you got there, sir!

Oldgringo, how's the poi relative to the sites on your new peacemaker?
OK! FINE!You guys got me convinced! My Peacemaker (pellet) is being delivered tomorrow (I hope). Now a question for the aficionados here : How does the Peacemaker compare to the Remington 1875? I know the Remington is BB/pellet but other than that?

I know the Remington is BB/pellet but other than that? The Remy is bulkier and a bit heavier than the Colt, the grips are noticeably thicker, I love mine for that over my Colts. Both revolvers have the iconic ''3-clicks'' noise when cocking the hammer, and both have the same internals (valve, trigger and such). Accuracy of the Remington is very good with pellets or BBs, better than with the 5.5'' barreled Colt anyways. CO2 consumption is similar. HTH .

I'm enjoying my Peacemaker beyond my wildest dreams and can't get my wife to provide empty Coke Zero cans fast enough. What other pellet pistol would provide equal backyard pleasure, he wonders. Perhaps a blowback semi auto?
