If so I can't see it as a viable option for a break barrel or underlevers. Basically any springer.

I ended up shooting mine 6 times before it died. I found you couldn't shoot closer than 6 feet or your reading would be off. For the money it's well worth it. I've already grazed my Caldwell Chrono once and if someone says they haven't at least grazed their Chrono I'd say they are either lying or haven't used it much or are extremely lucky.
Well, I've just received my ProChronograph DLX from Pyramyd Airguns. I'll look forward to setting it up and shooting through it later this week. Any suggestions for it's use other than whats in the instruction manual and online? Orv.
For a cheap light source indoors I use two incandescent puck lights that use flashlight bulbs, not LED, attached to a clothes pin with hot glue clamped on the diffusers. I found them at a grocery store for about a dollar or two each. LED pucks did not work well on my F-1 with too many errors and make sure no florescent lights are around. They work great and were the cheapest thing I could come up with.
