Slavia 618 rebuild?

I have a old Slavia 618 my uncle passed down to me.
It still cocks and shoots. With 7.9 cphp's its around 330 fps.
How fast should a new one shoot?
It's looking it's age really bad.
Is there something I can do to get slight surface rust off of it?
And what about part's for it like a mainspring and piston seal.
I'm pretty sure this one is leather.
Thanks
Ray

I sometimes see parts come up for sale on ebay, but very rarely. There are a few listed today including a complete gun, but it basically looks as you describe yours.
FWIW, here's a blog that show a rebuild of one.

Ray, most 618s shoot about 360 to 380 feet per sec and 390 is rather hot , I have heard of a few doing that. Oil the seal ( I use synthetic transmission fluid and have never had a detonation on a 618). Check the breach seal. You may need to cut a new one. I use hole punches from Harbor freight and trim the height when installed and then oil.
These are quite accurate and make good bell target rifles. Great for kids too. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
Ps I rarely take 618 apart. Just oil and shoot.
