I just want to reach out and publicly tell Gear_Junkie once again how happy you have made me. You see, a 2nd variant 160 JUST LIKE This was my first ever airgun.45 years ago my Grand Dad let me bring home my Uncle's "pellgun" because Uncle Mark was over fighting in Vietnam. I was a mere 11 YO and Dad (Korean Vet) set me up a range in the old basement at home.Grand-Dad had taught me how to shoot, But with that gun, Dad taught me how to accurately and safely shoot.Countless hours I spent in that basement shooting official cardstock pellet targets bought from the local sporting goods store. Then came a couple other airguns as birthday / christmas gifts. After a few years, at 18, I moved away. School, Dad passed away, I started my own family and a carrier, divorce, remarriage... life. Later when Grand Dad passed away, then Grand Ma, I was tasked with sorting out the estate... I was overwhelmed to find the old trusty 160 hanging in his basement. You see Uncle Mark was taken at at early age, and I had left home. Grand Dad had hung it right back on the same two nails where it was when he gave it to me 20 years before in the basement... a damp concrete 150 year old basement. It was literally rusted into one solid piece. I felt bad tossing it in the scrap pile. Now another 20 years later I own the same gun... only BETTER! No chip at the butt, no worn bluing, and even less minor pitting. I have had this for 3 days now. First day was functional check, second was wiping it down and a close inspection, today I just shot this gun for an hour. The memories came reeling back. The familiarization is unreal still after all these years. The safety became second nature, the POI is so predictable, and the way it fits.. literally brought a tear to my eye.Zack, you have given me more than an old airgun... you gave me VERY fond lost family memories back.... and the time in my youth that will never be replaced. Thank you!
