You will need the barrel and the bolt probe/pellet probe.  Everything else is the same.
Yes I personally have fit an FX barrel system to a Gauntlet. I think a LW or TJ is a better and more reasonable option.

If you can find new parts. Umarex says their stuff is being held up in customs for months. I have been trying to convert my .177 to .22 gauntlet for a while.

was just reading this thread and wonder what did you have to do to fit a FX barrel system to a gauntlet...
