Pyramyd Air to Remain Open

Dear Airgunners -

On Sunday, March 22nd, Governor Mike DeWine issued a Stay at Home order for the state of Ohio, our home base of operations, for non-essential businesses starting today, March 23rd.  However, we have been deemed as an essential business during the COVID-19 crisis, so while the country takes a pause, we are here and ready to serve you.

While we remain open, we are taking measures to protect our staff and our customers in partnership with the global containment effort to combat COVID-19.
 
Non-essential office staff are working remotely to reduce the amount of people in our building
For employees that must physically be at work, we have redistributed work stations, ensuring safe distances at all time to minimize minimize individuals’ exposure
We have stressed the importance of rigorous hygiene/hand washing to all employees and added additional hand sanitizing stations across our facility
Effective immediately, our custodial staff have updated cleaning requirements as recommended by the CDC

Pyramyd Air will continue to fulfill and ship your airgun, optics, airsoft, ammo and accessory needs as long as it is safe to do so. The Center for Disease Control reports that currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with receipt of packages or goods. Due to the poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days at ambient temperatures.

At this challenging time, Pyramyd Air wants to thank our health professionals and others on the front lines. We extend our sympathies to those affected by COVID-19, and hope that the steps we're all taking now will prevent further spread.
