Just got my '74 Blue Streak back from Mac1...
Oye!!! It is an insane powerhouse now. Truly, right now, I can barely get the 8th pump in.
Only a few test fires, but hitting my cardboard trap, it sounds more like it's hitting a wood plank now. SMACK!!
Did get a new scope for it, but the intermount just isn't cutting it, so got the IA base on it's way now
(well two on the way, got one for the 392 as well since it'll use the same scope)
Pics soon as well as chrony results soon... ya know, this time of the year can get a bit slow, well that and my SynRod should arrive tomorrow...
May have to send the 392 off to Mac1 as well an see how much more can be squeezed outta that one.
The "addiction" is growin' faster an faster an well I've hand to litteraly clear out a rather good sized closet an will have to put racks/stands in it just to hold them all as well as shelves for the pistols.....

They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

Congrats, my '79 is a powerhouse as well, and he hasn't been steroided or anything ( I'm assuming you got it steroided right ? )

*nods*
Prior to her not holding air, why she got sent there, 8 pumps was VERY easy to do. Now 8 takes a bit of work.

I think Tim can mill scope grooves in the 392. Not sure what he charges or how long it takes.....

Which could very well be a great option if / when I send the 392 in.
Just got that one not long 'go an haven't shot it much yet time / weather an all.
My biggest complaint with the 392 is that gap at the forearm, jus' a kinda goofy look.
Great shooter though.
Gettin' to scope back enough to be used as should and high enough to be able to work the bolt without the scope bein' in the way is the biggest issue
And for me, anymore, I need a scope of sum sort, cuz well, we jus' ain't gettin' no younger an they eyes like to remind us, well at least me, of that.

I share the failing eye condition with you. Have you tried a peep site? It's truly an amazing option.

I've not put one on any of my airguns, but, the neighbor had peeps on a few of his rifles that I tried out.
They do make quite the difference, but don't magnify.
Short of the Sheridan an 392 needin' "extra" to mount the scope, the scope I've been gettin' is way less $ wise than a peep
an well ya know, the crosshairs are way nice
