Huge news!I've had issues for years even trying ordering pellets from Walmart. Not long ago, I was finally able to order H&N pellets and Crosman pellets for in-store pick-up.Today, someone posted a Maximus close-out for $169 in the Bargain Gate there so I clicked on to order just to check. The order went through! I cancelled it right away, but maybe they are finally changing there shipping policies. It's worth checking it if you see a good deal.
I gave Walmart corporate an earful several times too. And Joe, it's not the laws here that are main problem. Until just recently, they would not even ship pellets to the store even though they sell pellets in that store. Was pretty much only Crosman pellets in there though. Also, lower power airguns like a 1377 have always been legal for anyone to buy here.

The problems all stem from laws and how they're written. Keep in mind that laws are not written by lawmakers. Most of them arent smart enough to do that. Instead, they are written by lobbyists who feed money into the campaigns of their puppet politicians so they can do the bidding of the lobby. Sadly, most of us don't have enough money to own a politician...or maybe that's a good thing. I'd rather have a new PCP rather than a politician. 😂

Illinois laws are horrible and Walmart was just doing what their legal team told them to do.
When I talked to a manager at the corporate office, he told me it was because they sorted restrictions by zip code. The problem is, they only use the first 2 (I believe it was 2) digits and it lumped most of the state in with Chicago restrictions.Anyways, it seems like they are finally solving it.
