Long story short:
I want to turn one of my Ruger Airhawks into .22 cal springer.
Before anyone says "sell and buy", I live in NJ and air rifle are treated as firearms. This would involve a FFL and now a NICS check which makes this venture cost prohibited.
A little bit of research tells me the AirHawk is a RWS 34 clone (and maybe their are other branded clones of that).
So, where would be my best bet on finding RWS 34 (or clone) .22 cal barrel?
TIA

The Ruger Airhawk is indeed reputed to be a Diana 34 clone. Check with Mike Melick at Flying Dragon Air Rifles. His XS-25 is also a Diana 34 clone and he probably has parts available. Umarex is the source for a genuine Diana 34 barrel but they may be cost prohibitive. I inquired a couple years ago and the barrel alone was $160. I have purchased complete guns for less.
